Prayer—Cleonia Olson, cboluvsgod@verizon.net 1. With the Plan for Vedat to return home to Montenegro, our Prayers for the proper development of this plan are as important as requests for his healing. 2. The Vedat Prayer Team receives Vedat Praise and Prayer Request emails weekly. Also, special prayer requests are sent out as needed. These emails share current developments, progress praises, and prayer concerns. Ask others who may be interested in Vedat to join the Prayer Team. 3. Everyone who wants to be a member of the Vedat Prayer Team may join the circle of prayer warriors. Please contact Cleonia Olson.
Meals—Kelsey Linderman, klinderman1@verizon.net 1. Our goal is to provide dinner meals during August for Vedat’s summer host family (the Beres) on Mondays and Thursdays each week. You can help by restaurant gift cards for the Beres family on a Monday or a Thursday. Please contact Kelsey for needs and details of suggested restaurants and how to get the cards to the Beres. 2. For September, Vedat will move to the McCarthy's in preparation for his return home. Our goal continues to support the McCarthy's with meals and meal cards. Please contact Kelsey for needs and details. 2. The Meals Team has some faithful volunteers, but could always use additional members! Please consider serving in this important way. 3. Please contact Kelsey with your desired dates in August and September and for any other information about the needs or to join our "Team of Chefs and Meal Card Providers."
Local transportation—Holly Turner, pyedturner@aol.com 1. There are no local transportation requirements. When requirements for local transportation are needed in the future, they will be announced here and/or individual contacts will be made with prospective drivers.
Long Distance Travel—Martin Olson, mgo6302@verizon.net 1. Tickets for Vedat and an escort travel to Chicago are needed for September 8th appiontments. If you can help provide these tickets, please contact Martin Olson. 2. We have been blessed in the past with tickets donated to cover multiple round trips to Chicago in June, July, August, December '09 and March '10.
Respite—Agnes Welch, bnawelch@yahoo.com 1. Invite Vedat into your home for the day, weekend or any break. He LOVES people and the host family does need a break every once in a while!! If you are interested in helping in this way, please contact Agnes. Financial—Martin Olson, mgo6302@verizon.net 1. While Vedat on-going financial needs have been met through the Global Missions offerings and through donations the plan for him to return home has significant added expenses. These are the initial costs of transporting Vedat to Montenegro and getting support set up there. Also there are costs of another visit to Shriner's. both of these travel events are planned for September. If you are interested in helping to support these financial needs, please make your offering check out to CBC and write Vedat Support on the Memo line of your check or on the Other line of your offering envelope. 2.
