Long Distance Travel

On Sunday, July 11th the Elders accepted a plan presented by Pastor Bill Hatcher for Vedat to return home to Montenegro.  The date for his return is tenatively set at September 28th.  Pastor Bill and Matt Spainhour plan to accompany Vedat to Montenegro. 

In preparation for this return home, Vedat is scheduled to visit Shriner's on September 8th to get his braces adjusted, get his periodic surgical and urological evaulations and to get fitted for a new wheelchair.  This travel will require two round trip tickets to Chicago.  A third ticket may be required, but that is still in the planning stages. 

Tickets for the travel to Chicago are especially needed.   If you would like to provide these tickets to Chicago, please let us know.  (See How You Can Help page)

March 9th

 We have a praise that a servant has come forward and is providing the three airline tickets needed to get Vedat to Shriner's in Chicago on March 29th and back to Virginia on April 2nd.  This is a special blessing in that this trip required three round trip tickets.

This offering fulfills the current long distance travel requirement.  At this time, there is no schedule for the next return to Shriner's.  The period between evaluations at Shriner's in the past has been at six month intervals.  As soon as any schedule is known, it will be posted here and elsewhere on the Vedat web page.
