- Serve God
Our Plan: - Prayer dependent
- Partnering with families
- Biblically based teaching
- Building Godly realationships
Our Commitment: - to standards of excellence - to maintaining a safe and loving environment - to screening and training our volunteers - to using biblically sound curriculum
Arriving on Sundays Whichever door you enter, you will find greeters to direct you to the Kids Crossing Information Desk. There you will find a member of the Kids Crossing Welcome Team to assist you:
- Registering your child(ren) (Pre-Registration form is here) - Printing attendance label to take to child(ren)'s class
- Taking you and each child to their class, and introducing you and your child to the teacher - Receiving a pair of numbered security bracelets for each nursery and preschool age child - Directing you to the sanctuary for worship or information on adult Bible study classes Sunday morning check in procedure is two-fold: - Attendance - attendance label from check in station
- Security - numbered bracelets from classroom (for nursery and preschool age)
Security System For families with children kindergarten aged and younger, you can expect to receive a pair of numbered security bracelets for each child. One is for your child to wear, the other for you to wear. We do ask you to wear them. There are digital display systems in the sanctuary and fellowship hall, so that if a parent is needed, the child’s number will be shown on the digital display board. The bracelets will be matched when you pick up your child. “Baby beepers” are available to check out for those parents in parts of the building not serviced by the digital display system. Automated Attendance Check In CBC uses an automated attendance check-in system for our Children's Ministry. Beginning with your second visit, you will be able to check in at any of the seven (7) check-in stations located around the building. Assistants are available to help as needed. To sign in:
- Type in the last four(4) digits of designated phone number OR last name
- Check 9:30, 11:00 or both for each child present
- Labels will be printed
- Take your child(ren) to the classroom(s) and give teacher the printed label(s)
Special Needs This ministry provides support and encouragement to families who have a special needs child. We ask parents to complete a student profile form and participate in parent/teacher conferences. This assists in developing a specific plan tailored to each child's needs in order for them to be successful in class.
